Key Technology 1: Parallel Query (PQ)
  • A parallel query uses multiple threads to execute a single SQL statement. It is dozens of times faster than a single-thread query. Parallel queries are suitable for COUNT(*) operations for larger tables, JOIN operations for multiple tables, and subqueries.
  • For data-intensive queries, operations such as column extraction and condition filtering are pushed to the storage layer for execution, reducing pressure on compute nodes and improving query execution efficiency.
  • Performance: With DFV storage and vertical optimization of the software and hardware, TaurusDB delivers 7x the performance of MySQL. It can process millions of QPS.
  • Scalability: You can add up to 15 read replicas in addition to scaling up or down specifications for a DB instance as needed.
